LUXURY FLORIST IN LONDON
DESIGNING BESPOKE FLORALS FOR DESCERNING COUPLES LOOKING FOR UNIQUE AND UNFORGETTABLE FLOWER DECOR
We know how important flowers are for you in your everyday life, and how big of a part they play in creating the intimate, personal vision you have for your wedding day. We love to help you design the most amazing, creative, memorable and out of the world florals for your day, bringing your ideas to the next level.
We start with an initial consultation, during which we discuss together your concept for your wedding day, what you wish to achieve with the flowers for your weddings, your favourite colours, shapes, and all the fun details. We also run through the structure of the day, how long do we have to set up, arrival times at the venue for you and your guests, ceremony and reception timings, right up to the take down. This allows us to have a good idea of what can be achieved; if necessary, we conduct a venue visit as well.
WE THEN GO BACK TO THE STUDIO AND LET OUR CREATIVITY RUN WILD
The result is a bespoke proposal, targeted to you as a couple, which includes mood-boards, a detailed floral colour palette suggestion, example images for feel and shape on the arrangements, bouquets, buttonholes, tables, staircases, ceremony arches, and so on. We also present to you our wild card ideas, which are the floral dreams we come up with after chatting together. If the idea we want to convey is something that has never been done before, we add handmade sketches to help you visualise it.
Think abundant installations, meadow-y aisles, hanging flower clouds, welcoming arches, all rich in greenery and flowers, designed with your wedding location in mind. Envision modern, fashion forward accents to make sure all the feature of the venue you so carefully chose are highlighted in the best way. Imagine gorgeous floral backdrops for your photos and memorable table arrangements, creating a wow factor and unique atmosphere for your guests.
THIS IS WHAT WE DO BEST AT ANNA FERN WEDDINGS
Zenith is an all-around service, completely tailored to you as a couple, and especially thought for budgets above £2000.
Initial Investment: Design Fee of £150 for the creation of your personalised proposal. We require a further deposit to secure our services for your date.
The flower décor is one of the most important elements to get right, in order to deliver the exact feel you want for your wedding. Therefore, we suggest you do not leave it too late, you should be looking at getting in touch and booking a florist after securing you date, venue and finding the wedding dress. On average, couples contact us around 18-12 months in advance of the wedding, and although we have created some floral magic at a few weeks’ notice, we would hate to turn you down if we were already booked on your date.
Choosing the right florist early on into your wedding planning journey allows you to tick off a big chunk of your wedding plans to-do list, and it also allows you to understand how much you need to invest in terms of your wedding budget, to achieve the dream you are envisioning.
We never create exact replicas of someone else’s work. We are very happy for you to bring inspiration images, we actually actively encourage you to show us as many as you can, as it helps us to understand your aesthetic. We will be inspired by these images and come up with a concept that is unique for you. The beauty of flowers is that they always changing and there are so many combinations, shapes, concepts that can be achieved, even with the same blooms. We want your flowers to be special.
The design fee covers the work, research, emails and phone calls with our suppliers and your venue, necessary to create the proposal for you. The design fee is deducted from the deposit at booking, once you decide to proceed with securing our services.
You should expect the proposal within 2 weeks of your consultation, as we might be waiting for a supplier quote, however, we always strive to send it as soon as it is completed.
Due to the bespoke nature of our designs, we do not work with a pricelist. We can offer you a list of “from prices” for you to quickly understand what your floral budget can achieve, however, as at the proposal stage everything is tailored to you so specifically, they only represent a basic guide. The design possibilities are endless!
We will start saying something very controversial, as florists: flowers are not essential, flowers are something you need to want to have for your wedding.
We think of flower design as an art and of every wedding as a new opportunity to create something unique, breath-taking and meaningful. We love large installations, overflowing vases of flowers. We also love more paired back designs, which look minimal, but sometimes take more time and effort to perfect than the larger ones. We go all in for our couples, we spend days selecting the shades that would make your design interesting and bring your venue to life, we brainstorm which blooms would look best and which to pair together for that specific feel. Leading up to the wedding day we run through the list of things to do incessantly, ticking off task after task, finding vessels and vases, and about 2-3 weeks before we start ordering your blooms, battling through availability changes due to the weather. We carefully and lovingly make sure each and every flower we receive is in tip-top conditions to make it into your arrangements, bouquets, corsages. We work endless hours, together with our team, to create the arrangements on the days before, and then on the day, usually running on little sleep, scattered snacks and massive amounts of coffee. All this because we love what we do and we love your reaction when we bring you your flowers and you see the venue transformed! We might be on hand during the day if any room swap is needed, and once you start dancing, we are still up and running and ready to come in and take it all down once the party ends. This can take a few hours, and before we are in bed we would have been up for almost 20 hours. The day after, we wake up to a sea of buckets to scrub, vases to clean, flowers and greenery to bag and dispose of, and returning any props or hire items too. And we love it.
All this to say, the cost of wedding flowers is not only the cost of the raw materials. It’s the cost of the hours of training, the hours of caring for the flowers, of designing arrangements, of transforming mere blooms into magic, of the art and passion that goes into what we do. If you love flowers and just cannot imagine having your wedding without them, then we are the florist for you and we cannot wait to meet you!
We love to have both of you at the consultation if possible, as we want to be able to understand what makes you, you!
We love mothers of the bride and groom and anyone else in the bridal party, however the consultation is a very intimate discussion between us to run through ideas, floral dreams, and to see if we click – it is just as much for us to see if we are a good fit as it is for you. Keeping it dedicated to the couple ensures our attention is fully on you and your floral brief.
Our consultation are informal chats, so the best settings are small coffee’ shops. We can meet in Central London in a variety of locations. If you are unable to come to London, we might be able to meet at the venue or we can offer a Zoom or Phone Consultation.
We are lovers of anything hanging from a ceiling, so we are super enthusiastic when we hear the words “flower clouds” but we love also single suspended flowers and foliage. We also love an overflowing staircase and well decorated archway and fireplace.
We work with all colour palettes, one of Anna’s favourite things to play with shades to create interesting combinations and unexpected pairings. We love working with bold, happy colours, but equally love to dive in creamy, buttery and soft briefs.
